Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi literally tore the ring apart during their SummerSlam 2026 night one main event match. That left many to wonder what is next for the Beast Incarnate.
Triple H was questioned about Brock Lesnar’s possible next moves in WWE. He didn’t outright say anything to spoil any future surprises, but Triple H praised Lesnar in a big way.
As Triple H continued to answer this question, he shifted the tone to give Brock Lesnar his flowers. After all, few people have been able to step into the ring and display the kind of dominance that Lesnar has for over two decades.
“You know, I don’t know [if Brock has more in the tank] you know we saw him retire a few months ago. Then he came back to do this, but for Brock to walk back into the ring to bring Oba back in there with him to put him over both verbally and physically as the future of the business, that is a pretty bold statement. Brock doesn’t just say things. So, without reading into it any more than that, ‘I am the past’ is what he said. You know as well as I do that Brock does what he wants to do, so take that at face value and let’s see. The one thing I do know is that he put on an incredible performance tonight, and a new star is born with Oba Femi.”
Triple H continued to say that Brock Lesnar doesn’t get the credit for being as good as he is. He said that Lesnar is not a prototypical pro wrestler. He’s not “technically” a great, but Triple H would put him up there with the best of all time. He did things his own way, a believable way, a way that only Lesnar could pull off.
After the match was over, Brock Lesnar made a point to put Oba Femi over as the future of WWE. Lesnar also said that he is the past, which makes many wonder when his next match may be. Only time will tell what is next for Lesnar, but the 49-year-old Beast certainly has more in the tank.
