TNA is bringing back Destination X, and this one has been a long time coming.

During the Slammiversary pay-per-view, TNA announced that Destination X will return on Sunday, November 15 at the Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. That marks the first Destination X event in 9 years, which makes this a pretty big revival for longtime TNA fans.

Destination X has always had a strong connection to the X-Division, with past events featuring major Ultimate X matches and some of the company’s most athletic showcases. The event first launched back in 2005 and later became a special Impact Wrestling episode from 2013 to 2017 before disappearing from the schedule.

Now, TNA is dusting it off and giving it a real return date. Bringing Destination X back in Canada also gives the company another major event outside its usual comfort zone, and Edmonton fans are getting a show with a lot of history attached to it.

TNA has been making plenty of changes lately, but this one should hit differently for fans who remember what Destination X used to mean. After 9 years away, the X-Division showcase is officially back on the calendar.
