WWE has added another big match to the May 25, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW, and this one puts championship gold on the line just days before Clash in Italy.
Ahead of the go-home edition of RAW, WWE.com announced that Intercontinental Champion Penta will defend his title against Je’Von Evans in singles action. The company hyped the match by focusing on Penta’s recent run as a fighting champion while teasing a major opportunity for Evans on Monday night.
“Intercontinental Champion Penta continues to build his reputation as a true fighting champion as he prepares to battle the dynamic Je’Von Evans in a title match.”
The newly announced title match joins an already loaded RAW lineup heading into Clash in Italy. Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are also set for a contract signing ahead of their showdown, while Oba Femi is expected to address Brock Lesnar’s shocking return and challenge from last week.
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria are also scheduled to face Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez in tag team action as tensions continue building in the women’s division.
Penta defending the Intercontinental Championship against Je’Von Evans gives RAW another major attraction before WWE heads to Italy for one of the company’s biggest international events of the year.
