Tatum Paxley knows social media can be brutal, but she’s learned how to deal with the negativity that comes with being in the spotlight.

While speaking to TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Paxley opened up about how she handles criticism online and why she avoids diving into comment sections altogether. She made it clear that staying away from negativity is part of how she keeps her focus where it belongs. She explained that the internet is filled with opinions from people who believe they know what’s happening behind the scenes, but she refuses to let that noise affect her mindset.

“Um, I really just pay no mind to it. And I think a lot of us will say that because it's true. Like, there's just so much nonsense online and people that think they know you or think they know what's going on. And I just I try not to really read much of anything. Um I don't like to scroll too much or read comments. So for me, I find it's best to just pretend it's not there. But also I, you know, I respect people's thoughts and opinions. They can feel whatever they want to feel. Um at the end of the day, like as long as you're feeling something towards me, I'm doing my job.”

Even though Paxley has learned to tune out negativity herself, she admitted there’s still someone close to her who pays attention to what’s being said online — her mother. She revealed that her mom regularly reads comments and brings them up, forcing Paxley to remind her not to take online opinions personally.

“You know, it's kind of funny. The person that I really have to push this on is like my mother. My mom loves — she loves to read comments, good, bad, and she's always bringing it up to me. And I'm always telling her like, ‘Hey, don't let it affect you. Don't don't let it bother you.’”

For Paxley, the reality is simple — reactions, whether positive or negative, mean people are paying attention. And in her mind, that means she’s doing something right.

Social media criticism isn’t going away anytime soon, especially for WWE talent constantly under the spotlight, but Paxley seems determined to keep her attention on her performance instead of public opinion.
