If you’ve seen a supposed WWE SummerSlam booking sheet making the rounds online, don’t waste time trying to decode it. It’s fake—and whoever made it clearly decided subtlety wasn’t an option.
The image claims to be WWE’s “Final Revised Booking Sheet” for both nights of SummerSlam, complete with production notes and a giant “DO NOT POST ONLINE” stamp to make it look authentic. The problem? Almost every single match contains something so over-the-top that the entire thing reads less like a leaked WWE document and more like someone trying to win a “most ridiculous fantasy booking” contest.
It starts with CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes somehow ending in a double count-out after AJ Lee returns to help Punk, Brandi Rhodes jumps AJ, and WWE instantly announces AJ vs. Brandi for Night Two. That’s followed by Brock Lesnar apparently driving a tractor through the Hell in a Cell, with Oba Femi chasing him into the Minnesota Vikings tunnel before the match supposedly continues the next day.
If that wasn’t enough, the fake sheet claims William Regal suddenly changes GUNTHER vs. Nick Aldis into a British Rules match before both wrestlers decide to chop Regal instead. Elsewhere, Rhea Ripley arrives in an ambulance to take Dominik Mysterio away in the middle of Liv Morgan’s title defense, while Nikki Bella accidentally pins Brie Bella after Twin Magic goes horribly wrong.
Then somehow Night Two gets even more unbelievable. The “leak” claims Dean Ambrose returns to cost Roman Reigns the World Heavyweight Championship, only for The Rock to appear seconds later before The Usos turn on Roman anyway, reform “The Original Bloodline,” and stand tall to end the show. Meanwhile, Penta and Chad Gable supposedly remove their masks only to reveal… they’re each other.
Kevin Owens attacks Sami Zayn after helping him win, steals the No. 1 Contender’s contract and leaves with it, while R-Truth somehow mistakes Danhausen’s “Human Monies” for Money in the Bank and gets declared the winner of the match.
And just when it seems the fake script can’t possibly get any stranger, it saves its biggest punchline for the closing shot. Rikishi is revealed as the mystery driver of the black SUV before delivering his iconic “I did it for The Rock” line from more than two decades ago, as The Rock and The Usos stand over Roman Reigns to fade out SummerSlam.
The giveaway isn’t just one ridiculous moment—it’s all of them. Every match features a massive return, an overbooked swerve, a comedy finish, or a twist that would completely overshadow the actual event. That’s usually the easiest way to spot these fake leaks. They’re written to shock people scrolling through social media, not to resemble how WWE actually books a premium live event.
This also isn’t anything new. Every year, especially around SummerSlam and the Royal Rumble, fake “production sheets” and “booking leaks” flood social media hoping fans mistake them for the real thing. This one is simply the latest—and arguably one of the most outrageous yet.
