AEW Dynamite Results (7/29/2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens up with Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz welcoming us. They then hype up the confirmed matches for All In and the new champions coming out of Redemption. We have four big title matches on tap tonight, including the Continental Title as Jon Moxley defends against Komander.
We then get a video package looking back at the ending of Redemption last Sunday night and Will Ospreay’s falling out with The Death Riders. This is intercut with Moxley and the Riders causing chaos backstage, with Moxley not pleased that this is what they get for months of training.
We then see The Death Riders watching on a monitor in a dressing room as Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega stand off, seemingly happy to close the show until Omega scoops Ospreay up from the turnbuckle for a One-Winged Angel. Moxley then mocks the fact he knew Omega would do this, considering the title is on the line.
We then head to the parking lot from earlier today as Will Ospreay dodges a question about what went down at Redemption. He is confronted by The Death Riders, with Daniel Garcia starting to mouth off at him only to get knocked down by Ospreay. Moxley and the rest of his group then stare him down, with Moxley asking if Ospreay really wants to do that. Ospreay says Moxley doesn’t get to pull the trigger for him, shoving the Riders patch in his chest as he tells Moxley he’s out.
Ospreay then storms off as Renee Paquette tries to get a word from him, but he is soon confronted by “Hangman” Adam Page. Page then tells him he respects Ospreay finally coming to his senses about the Death Riders. An offer of help is then declined as Ospreay tells Page he’s got the United Empire mad at him, the Death Riders breathing down his neck, and he can’t trust Omega so he won’t trust Page. Page then makes a joke about this for a moment before telling Ospreay he’s got this and he wishes him luck at All In.
Jack Perry then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Nick Wayne and Andrade El Ídolo follow.
AEW National Championship 3-Way Match: Andrade El Ídolo (c) vs. The Elite’s Jungle” Jack Perry vs. Nick Wayne
The match starts off with all three men in the ring and it is a slow start at first as we get a “how you know” chant, but things quickly pick up when Perry hits Andrade with a superkick. Nick Wayne then goes after Jack Perry, but he is fended off before Andrade regains control with a double suplex. He then sends Nick out of the ring with a headscissors before Perry sends him to the ropes, where Andrade poses. Perry then chases him out of the ring for a bulldog, but Andrade is already back up and sends him to the barricade. He then poses with one of the fans in the front row for a selfie, but Wayne intercepts to go after him.
Perry then gets involved and with Andrade taken down the two other men head back into the ring to go at it. Andrade then slides back into the ring, taking both opponents to the mat to a pop from the crowd. He then goes for a Three Amigos on Perry and hits it with a smile on his face as Perry crawls to the corner for a breather. Andrade then goes for a double knee, but gets intercepted by Wayne who gets sent to the opposite corner with a shotgun dropkick by Perry. Wayne has Perry up on the turnbuckle, but is taken down by Andrade. This then gives Perry a chance to fight back, only for Wayne and Perry to end up on the outside where they get taken out with a dive by Andrade.
Wayne is then back up and he sends Andrade to the ring for a Prodigyplex. A cover by Wayne, but Perry breaks the pin. Perry and Wayne then trade strikes until Andrade gets involved and he is sent to the ropes only to take both opponents to the canvas with a double clothesline. Perry then slowly gets to his feet to fight it out with Andrade, but Wayne is right there to get involved as well. This then ends with Wayne and Andrade sent out of the ring, where Perry hits a dive and a big moonsault on both men. He then brings Wayne back into the ring for a cover, but only gets a two count.
He then heads to the corner for a running knee, but Wayne dodges it and sends him to the outside only to be caught by Andrade, and sent to the mat hard. Andrade then goes up top but is intercepted by a returning Perry, who gets sent right back out of the ring by Andrade. Andrade then hits a Dia de los Muertos and the DM on Wayne for the win.

After the match, Tony Schiavone joins Andrade in the ring and asks him how he’s feeling. Andrade says he’s feeling tranquilo because he screwed MJF by taking his Dynamite Diamond Ring. Andrade then says he can fight anyone and will be the best National Champion ever. Schiavone then asks him about the match next week in Mexico to select the first entrant in the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In and asks him if he would consider it. Andrade then responds by asking Schiavone “how you know”.
We then see Alex Windsor backstage with Jamie Hayter and they tell Divine Dominion they talk too much before telling them to step up as the Birds will look to take the titles soon.
We then Kyle Fletcher and he tells Kevin Knight to focus on his title because the International Title won’t leave him. This is following Kevin Knight’s loss to Kenny Omega. Kazuchika Okada then tells Fletcher that the International Title will stay within The Don Callis Family. That was a clear shot at Fletcher, sowing the seeds for further dissent and possibly even a future defection from the group.
Don Callis Family then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Brodido and “Speedball” Mike Bailey follow.
Trios Match: Don Callis Family (AEW International Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher, “The Machine” Brian Cage and Jake Doyle) vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Brodido (Brody King and ROH World Champion Bandido)
The match starts off with Bailey and Fletcher, but not for long as Fletcher tells him to tag out. Bailey then obliges as we get a chant from the crowd while Brody King tags in. King then quickly goes to work on Fletcher, wearing him down until Cage makes the tag only to tag Doyle in as well and the two go to work on King. Doyle then tags out to Fletcher, but this turns around on him as Bailey tags in for some shots on his opponent. The fight then spills to the outside with Bandido keeping Cage and Doyle at bay, making a tag to go after Fletcher from the turnbuckle. Fletcher then starts to fight back but is hoisted up for a deadlift suplex by Bandido, who sends him to the corner for some punches.
Bandido then gets sent to the outside, where Cage hits him with a powerbomb to the ring post while the referee is distracted. King then hits a double cannonball to Cage and Doyle in the corner as the two men are stacked on top of one another. He then nails Cage with a lariat and tags out to Bailey, but Fletcher tags in and hits a knee strike to Bailey. He then goes for a pin, but King and Bandido both break the fall. Cage and Doyle then quickly take out King and Bandido. Bailey then hits a kick to Fletcher and follows it up with his signature flipping double knees and hits a roundhouse kick to Fletcher to nail him when Fletcher charges at him.
Bandido and Doyle then tag in and Bandido hits a Gorilla Press to Doyle. He then climbs to the top rope and hits a Frog Splash on Doyle, but Doyle rolls through and hits a bodyslam to Bandido. He then runs over him with a splash as everyone begins taking one another out. Bailey then hits a springboard moonsault to Fletcher off the ropes, but Doyle nails Bandido with a right hand when Bandido charges at him. Bailey then tags in and hits the Ultima Weapon off the top rope to Doyle’s spine. He then rolls Doyle up for the win.

After the match, Fletcher is in shock as he narrowly missed breaking up the pin and Bailey and Brodido celebrate.
We then get a sit-down interview mediated by Renee Paquette. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are on one side and The Young Bucks are on the other. The two teams show respect to each other for what they’ve done for the business, especially as it relates to the tag team division. Cage has a bit more to add to this, stating that he and Copeland didn’t come back for a retirement tour or a “greatest hits” tour. Cage says they’re here to prove that they’re not only the best of their generation, but of yours as well. Cage then says he’s glad that the Young Bucks’ wives are coming to London, but Matt shakes this off as he talks about the Young Bucks looking to win the titles to be the most decorated team in the business.
Copeland interrupts to talk about himself and Cage being out of the business for some time and not even being a tag team for a quarter century, so don’t make the comparison game with them. Matt then adds that he’s just hoping the champs are ready as they’re gonna go at it harder, faster and stronger than ever before. Cage then says it sounds like he’s trying to talk himself into a win. Renee then asks about any doubts the two teams are facing, with Copeland admitting there is a little but he’s looking to overcome it. Matt then says there’s been doubt given at them but they are prepared to stop that talk when they go into this match and the interview ends.
Persephone then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Maya World follows.
AEW TBS Championship Match: Maya World (c) vs. CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone
The match starts off with both women locking up. Persephone then goes straight after World, only for World to fight back sending Persephone to the ropes. The action then spills to the outside, where World looks for a dive from the apron only to be slammed hard by Persephone. Both women are now back in the ring where Persephone looks for a pin, but World counters for a two count instead. World then rolls out of the grip of Persephone for a double stomp and she follows it up with a kick from the corner for another near fall. Persephone then blocks a bridging suplex, hitting a fallaway slam instead that sends World to the outside.
No room to breathe for World as Persephone runs through the ropes for a dive, but World is back up, taking Persephone down with a dropkick followed by a DDT off the apron. She then brings Persephone back in the ring, hitting a Meteora of sorts for a near fall. Persephone then fires back with a delayed suplex, bridging for a close two count. World then stops her cold in the corner for a moonsault, but as she goes for a cover a kendo stick gets brought into the ring. We then quickly see who brought the stick as Hikaru Shida gets on the apron to distract the referee, but before Persephone can use the kendo stick it gets pulled away from an arriving Kris Statlander which allows Maya to hit a bridging suplex for the win.

After the match, Maya World celebrates with Kris Statlander showing some respect.
We then head to the back, where Mark Davis addresses losing the National Championship as well as looking for some revenge on Will Ospreay. He then promises to leave the Don Callis Family in the back next week so they can settle things.
We then get a glimpse of Chompie as Shark Week rolls on with the Discovery network and we head to the ring for Willow Nightingale’s championship celebration.
Renee Paquette then welcomes Willow Nightingale to the ring as the crowd chants “you deserve it.” We then get a bunch of streamers in the ring for the occasion and Willow is choked up as she tells the fans how much that means to her. She then addresses that there have been haters over the years, which gets some boos from the crowd. Willow then says there are folks who look at her and just don’t get it, thinking big things would never happen. Willow then says this past year she’s made the fans very happy by the reaction she’s getting. She then jokes about the makeup artists working very hard before talking about her win as half of the first-ever Women’s World Tag Team Champions and defeating Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship. Willow then says she got hurt and it all came crashing down.
Willow then says she found herself in a dark place, but you know who helped her get out of that. Willow then says dood old mom and this gets a “mom” chant as she thanks her mom Jill, who helped bring her “warrior princess” fight to get back into ring shape for the Casino Gauntlet match to face a toxic champion in Thekla. Willow. then gives the fans some advice, saying if she ever gets knocked around don’t you dare give up. She then talks about what it means to fight, but is interrupted by the arrival of Mercedes Moné. Moné then makes her way to the ring with her contract for the title match at All In, wrestling her way through the streamers in the ring.
Moné then gets booed heavily and tells Willow that she’s there for business and demands the contract be signed for All In. Willow then obliges by signing the contract on Moné’s body. Willow then asks Moné what her problem is. She then takes a shot at her not being able to stand attention being away from her. Moné then says her problem is how her legacy is always overwritten by Willow. Moné then says Willow is holding the title that means the most to her. The crowd then tells Moné to STFU loudly, but she shuts them down quickly. They then get into a heated argument and Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) show up. They then launch a 3-on-1 attack and The Brawling Birds make their way out for the save. They then run Moné and Divine Dominion out of the ring.
Jon Moxley then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night through the crowd and he is still getting a big pop from the crowd despite his and the Death Riders’ actions at Redemption. Commentary then addresses what happened with Omega and Ospreay and how it plays into what Moxley was trying to prove. Komander then makes his way down to the ring next and we take a look at what he did last week on ROH and at Redemption before we get this match underway.
AEW Continental Championship Match: The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley (c) vs. Komander
The match starts off with Moxley circling the mat before locking up with Komander, wringing the arm of Komander. Komander then rolls through for a hold of his own, but Moxley breaks free for a cover and a near fall. Komander then backs into the corner before Moxley grabs a side headlock, where he ends up sending Komander to the mat. Both men then reset, which leads to a test of strength before Moxley cinches in a side headlock. Komander then breaks free and hits the ropes, only to be taken to the canvas with a shoulder tackle. Komander is now back up and get Moxley with a cradle off the ropes for a two count.
He then hits a kick to the face from the corner and Komander follows it up with an arm drag. Moxley is already back up and he hits a hard kick to keep Komander down. Moxley then sends Komander to the ropes, but takes a headscissors sending him to the floor. Komander then climbs the nearest turnbuckle and walks the rope, only to drop down when Moxley walks away but Komander still gets the drop on Moxley with a dive. Moxley has regained control of the match with a front facelock on Komander, who fights back to his feet. Komander then counters a suplex attempt for a cradle and a two count, only to be sent to the corner by Moxley. Moxley charges at Komander, who dodges at the last second before taking Moxley to the canvas with a dropkick.
A series of kicks from Komander allows him to hit the ropes for a cross body of sorts, but it’s only good for another near fall. Moxley then sends him to the corner, where Komander dodges him looking for another flurry of offense but is laid out with a clothesline instead. Moxley brings him to the corner for some punches and starts ripping at the mask of Komander as the referee admonishes him. Komander then fights out of it, setting Moxley up for a guillotine leg drop across the back. The impact then sends Moxley over the rope to the outside, while Komander drops to the floor as well. He then uses the barricade to get back up and Moxley tries to attack him here, only for Komander to dodge him and get back in the ring.
Komander then hits Moxley with a 450 splash as he comes into the ring and this gets him a two count. Komander then dodges a lariat attempt, hitting a thrust kick that sends Moxley out of the ring. Komander then climbs the turnbuckle and this time manages to walk the ropes, dropping down hard on Moxley sending him to the floor. He then brings Moxley back to the ring before going for a shooting star rope walk, but Moxley rolls out of the way, countering with a stomp. He then quickly cinches in a bulldog choke and Komander passes out as Moxley picks up the win.

After the match, Moxley celebrates his win.
We then head to the back, where Mick Foley stands by with the Bang Bang Gang. He notices a subdued attitude here and the Gang address the fact that Jay White isn’t here after what went down at Redemption, with Juice Robinson calling The Dogs out for a fight tomorrow night on Collision. He then says if you’re not down with that, they’ve got two words for you Guns Up.
The Conglomeration then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night and The Demand follow. Bishop Kaun then makes a beeline for the ring to go after The Conglomeration. Cassidy then gets sent out of the ring to be dealt with by Liona as Strong manages to send Ricochet out of the ring and all six men go at it on the outside. Strong and O’Reilly then set up Ricochet for a diving strike by Cassidy, who gets from the top turnbuckle all the way down to the apron for the strike. Liona then grabs a hold of him and brings him back in the ring and as Cassidy admits that he’s good to go we get this main event underway.
AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly) (c) vs. The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun)
The match starts off with Cassidy trying to fight back before putting his hands in his pockets and Liona just hoists him up anyway, throwing him around. Strong then comes in and both men manage to keep GOA at bay until they get dropped to the mat. The Demand then firmly take control of the match as they send O’Reilly to the outside and drop Cassidy to the mat. Back in the ring, Strong fights back with a backbreaker on Ricochet before tagging in O’Reilly. Kaun then comes in as well, but O’Reilly hits a hard kick to keep him down. He then fends off Liona before sending Ricochet into the big man, turning his attention to Kaun for an ankle lock.
Kaun then crawls to the ropes for a break and Ricochet tags in for a big triple team into a standing shooting star press for a near fall. O’Reilly then fights back, dropping Ricochet hard before getting the tag to Cassidy. Cassidy then climbs the turnbuckle, but is intercepted by Ricochet. The two then fight it out until Cassidy digs his fingers into the head of Ricochet, forcing him to the mat. Kaun then rushes in, but is intercepted by Strong. Things then break down as O’Reilly and Ricochet come in, but finally calm down when O’Reilly gets the tag in. He and Strong then double team Kaun leading to a high-low, but Ricochet breaks up the pin that follows.
Liona then gets the tag and nails O’Reilly and Strong before Cassidy tries to lay him out with an Orange Punch. That doesn’t faze the big man, but a Stundog Millionaire keeps him down after all. Chaos then ensues as The Lethal Twist take advantage of a referee distraction, while Ricochet gets the tag and hits the Spirit Gun on O’Reilly for the win.

After the match, The Demand are joined by The Lethal Twist in attacking The Conglomeration until Brody King and Hangman Page come out for the save. Page has a barbed wire chair that he uses to scare The Demand and The Lethal Twist to the ramp.
We then head to outside the Temple, where The Death Riders address their opponents for Collision as well as the situation with Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega. Moxley then interjects about his run as Continental Champion and how he isn’t scared of whatever comes his way next.
Commentary then confirms that Will Ospreay faces Daniel Garcia tomorrow on Collision before we head to ringside to hear from Kenny Omega after retaining the title at Redemption.
Tony Schiavone then introduces AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Omega makes his way down to the ring. The two men then shake hands, but before Omega can talk, Will Ospreay’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Omega then calls for Ospreay’s music to be cut off and says it’s great Ospreay is in the ring because what he’s about to say only needs to be heard by Ospreay. He then says he used to do something called show and tell in kindergarten and Ospreay showed him how he felt at Redemption by giving him a One Winged Angel. He then says he thought Ospreay would get it, but he sees an angry Ospreay in front of him and asks if it’s time for the tell part.
Omega then says he cares about Ospreay and he means the world to him. He then asks Ospreay if he remembers making a promise to him to try their best and become champions. He then says 100% of the time, he always puts his friendship with Ospreay ahead of a championship. He then says that’s the reason why he let Ospreay into the 2026 Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament out of kindness and wanting the best for him, but then Ospreay told Omega that it really sucks he gave up on himself. He then says those words cut deep for him and asks Ospreay if it looks like he gave up. Omega then says Ospreay will never be one to talk down to him. He then says even though he gave Ospreay plenty of warning about The Death Riders and Jon Moxley, but Ospreay pretended to know better and asks him what his excuse is now that it blew up in front of his face.
Ospreay then says he came back from neck surgery early because all he thought about was revenge. He then says his revenge slipped through his fingers and all his confidence slipped through his fingers. He then says he feels like he short changed the fans for his body failing him. He then says he had no one to turn him, but Omega insists he was always there for Ospreay. Ospreay then continues on to say that the guy he hated in Moxley gave him a new life and admits he liked being a Death Rider. He then says he liked the commodity and the training. He then says it reminded him of his days in Japan and the more he got to know The Death Riders, the more he understood why they protect AEW. He then says that’s where their similar philosophies ended and when he saw Omega face down in the ring with a chair around his neck at Redemption, he couldn’t see someone he loved go through what he did.
Omega then says he got beaten up in the ring at Redemption and minutes felt like hours. He then says he felt the chair slip down his neck and didn’t have the energy to fight after a gruelling match against Kevin Knight, so all he could do was accept his fate. He then says he heard the cheers of the fans and knew it was Ospreay coming to save him, but an eternity passed. He then says he took the chair off his neck, stood up and turned around to see what had happened in order to understand more about Ospreay than ever before. He then says he knew why it took so long about Ospreay and he thought about choking him with the plastic bag himself. He then slaps Ospreay and asks Ospreay if all their friendship was getting the AEW World Championship from Omega.
Omega then slaps Ospreay two more times and says Ospreay will always be a step behind him. He then says he’ll always be better than Ospreay, but an angry Ospreay shoves Omega and threatens to deliver a Hidden Blade to him. Ospreay then says no matter how much Omega respects him, he will take him out if he puts his hands on him. Ospreay then says he filled Omega’s absence when he came to AEW. He then says winners want the ball and he wants the ball. He then says when 90 minutes are done in soccer, it’s all over. He then says it’s his turn to kick the ball and he has an entire country depending on him to bring it home. He then says England is asking if he can pull the trigger and he confidently says he can. He then says he won’t do it like Omega from behind or nearly kill him like Moxley would. He then says when he pulls that trigger, Omega will see it coming. Ospreay’s music then hits as the crowd cheer him on and Omega has a smugness about him as he raises his title on the stage. Commentary then talk up the road to All In London, including Collision tomorrow and Grand Slam Mexico next week and the show comes to a close.
