Dominik Mysterio has now addressed his sister Aalyah Mysterio’s possible move into the WWE system, and it sounds like Rey Mysterio’s daughter is preparing to take this much further than a short training experiment.
While speaking with Ariel Helwani, Dominik was asked directly whether Aalyah is headed to WWE. He stopped short of presenting it as a formal announcement, but made it clear that he believes she is preparing to work at the WWE Performance Center full-time.
“I believe she is.”
Dominik said the idea of both Mysterio children being part of WWE is exciting, although he also offered his sister one important piece of advice. The former Intercontinental Champion also admitted that he never expected wrestling to become part of Aalyah’s plans.
“I think it’s cool to have both the Mysterio kids in here, and I just hope she listens to my dad.”
“I didn’t know this was in the cards for her.”
Dominik then gave the clearest indication yet that Aalyah is not simply visiting the Performance Center for another brief trial.
“I think she’s going to the P.C. to work there full-time.”
His comments follow an earlier update that Aalyah was expected to begin working at the WWE Performance Center in the near future. Rey Mysterio previously revealed that she had already completed two weeks of training and came away wanting to continue.
Rey explained that Aalyah first stepped into the ring with him in October 2025 after graduating from the University of California, San Diego, with a degree in Human Biology. She enjoyed the initial session, so Rey arranged a more demanding two-week trial.
“Let’s try to set you up to go up there for about two weeks and see if you can wake up every day and do this Monday through Friday, weekends off, and then back again Monday through Friday. She did two weeks, and she really loved it.”
Aalyah later returned for another training session in February, and Rey said she was preparing to establish herself at the Performance Center. He also made it clear that she would not be pressured to stay if wrestling did not feel right.
Dominik’s latest comments now add even more weight to the belief that Aalyah is preparing to enter WWE’s developmental system. Nothing has been officially announced by WWE, but her brother clearly expects her to be around the Performance Center on a full-time basis.
