Steve Maclin is not wasting a damn second after getting out of TNA. One day after his release was announced, the former TNA World Champion already has a new deal locked in and a date on the calendar.
PRODUCE by Orange Crush announced that Maclin has signed a multifight deal with the promotion. His first appearance is set for July 16 in Jersey City, New Jersey at PRODUCE: Volume 2 – TAIGASTYLE from White Eagle Hall. The announcement made it clear that Maclin is jumping right back into the fight game.
“Steve Maclin has come to terms with PRODUCE on a multifight deal.”
Maclin’s debut will also happen in his home state, giving the Garden State native a pretty fitting first stop after his TNA run ended.
“On July 16th in Jersey City, NJ, the Garden State native will debut on our second show PRODUCE: Volume 2 – TAIGASTYLE at the White Eagle Hall.”
That is a fast turnaround, especially since TNA announced on June 7, 2026 that Maclin and Myla Grace had both been released, effective immediately. Maclin later made it clear that the move was his choice, saying he had requested his release from the company the week before.
“Last week I requested my release from TNA. I put my blood, sweat, and tears into everything I’ve done over the last 5 years and I’ll always be thankful for my time there. But now, it’s time to STACK BODIES. See you soon.”
Turns out, “see you soon” meant real soon. Maclin spent five years in TNA and became one of the company’s top names, including a run as TNA World Champion. His exit immediately started talk about whether WWE or AEW could be next, but before any of that plays out, Maclin already has business to handle on the independent scene.
This also shows Maclin is not sitting around waiting for the phone to ring. He asked out, got his release, and immediately lined up a new fight.
Whatever happens next with WWE, AEW, or anywhere else, Steve Maclin’s first post-TNA move is already official. He said it was time to stack bodies, and now PRODUCE is giving him the ring to do it.
