Stephanie Vaquer’s injury situation is now coming into focus, and the timeline suggests she could be out longer than initially expected.

After WWE confirmed on the April 27 RAW that Vaquer suffered a second-degree AC joint sprain following a backstage attack angle, early reports backed up that the injury was legitimate. But now, a new report is giving a better idea of how long she could actually be out.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there is currently no official return date, and internally, the expectation is that she’ll be sidelined for a significant stretch. The report explained that while nothing is locked in, the belief is that Vaquer won’t be back anytime soon, with early estimates already pointing toward at least several weeks away.

“Regarding Stephanie Vaquer's status, we're told she's expected to be on the shelf for the foreseeable future with no official timetable currently in place. One source noted they've heard rumblings of a minimum six week absence with the possibility it could extend beyond that. While there's hope she could recover in time for SummerSlam, there remains some cautious, some cautions, excuse me, surrounding that time frame.”

That uncertainty is key. While SummerSlam is being mentioned as a possible target, it’s far from guaranteed, and the tone around her recovery suggests WWE is preparing for a longer absence if needed. It was also made clear that WWE’s current approach to injuries is playing a role in how this situation is being handled. Instead of rushing talent back, there’s a stronger focus on making sure recovery is fully complete.

“Hey, you know what? And I think it's good to be careful with some of these injuries and not have the need to force people back as quickly as we've seen in years past… you have the ability now with such a deep roster to have someone as highly regarded as Stephanie at this point in time to give you time to rest up, recover.”

From there, the discussion circled back to what her return could look like if things go well, with SummerSlam still being viewed as an ideal—but uncertain—landing point.

“So hopefully the six weeks come and go very quickly… the two night SummerSlam could use her, could definitely use somebody like Stephanie… I want to see what's next for her… hopefully she gets better right quickly and it's not something that lingers deep into 2026.”

Bottom line: Stephanie Vaquer isn’t coming back anytime soon. There’s no set timeline; a minimum six-week absence is being discussed, and even a SummerSlam return is up in the air. WWE appears to be playing it safe, and for now, she’s firmly on the shelf.
