Omos has a message for wrestling fans who want to smell better, and he isn’t starting with some $500 bottle of cologne. According to the WWE giant, none of that fancy stuff matters if you’re skipping the most basic part of the routine.

During his interview with Unlikely, Omos was asked for his best advice when it comes to hygiene, fashion and smelling good. He didn’t dance around the subject and immediately went right for step one.

“The first things first, start with washing your ass. The all the other stuff doesn’t work if you you don’t wash your ass and you have proper hygiene.”

The conversation then got even more specific when Omos was asked whether he uses a washcloth or a loofah. He rejected both and revealed that he prefers an African net sponge because he wants something that can actually scrub away dead skin.

“Oh, no. No. No. No. I am an African net sponge kind of guy. Definitely no lofus. No, no, no. You want something abrasive to get the the the dead skin off your body. You you want you want you want to be well cleansed after.”

Then came the question wrestling fans probably didn’t expect — does Omos actually wash his feet? His answer left absolutely no room for confusion.

“Brother, I wash my feet. I wash everything, brother. Nothing like I am showers twice a day, the whole nine yard. The whole like I am I am a stiffler for hygiene.”

Omos wasn’t finished there. After showering, he said the next step is deodorant, preferably something strong enough to last all day. He even named Mitchum as his preferred brand, although he made sure to joke that he wasn’t giving away a free endorsement without pointing out that he likes getting paid.

“Second thing is get your ass a freaking de deodorant. 24 hours preferably is called the clinical ones. The last 24 hours.”

“I hate to call them out cuz they didn’t pay me no money and I like money. Uh Mitchum has is a pretty good brand. That’s what I use.”

Omos then moved on to lotion, and he made it clear that a tiny dab isn’t cutting it. He wants enough to actually keep the skin hydrated. Only after somebody has washed, used deodorant and moisturized does Omos think it’s time to reach for the fragrance.

“Not just lotion. Lotion that copious amounts of lotion that that that coat your skin that has vitamin E in oil in it. So that way your skin stays hydrated.”

“Then last but not least, the fragrance. So all those steps before the fragrance. So don’t don’t jump.”

Omos basically handed wrestling fans a full four-step program, but his message wasn’t complicated — cologne isn’t going to save you if you skipped everything that comes before it. Wash first, handle the deodorant, moisturize, and then worry about smelling expensive.

What do you think about Omos’ hygiene advice, and is he right that people jump to fragrance before taking care of the basics? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
