PRODUCE Wrestling just added some serious international flavor to its summer lineup. The promotion announced that STARDOM talent will be coming in as part of a new multi-fight deal.

PRODUCE confirmed that it has signed a multi-fight agreement with talent from STARDOM. No specific names were announced, but the deal will bring STARDOM wrestlers to upcoming PRODUCE events in Montreal and New York City.

The STARDOM talent is currently set to compete at the July 26 PRODUCE event in Montreal and the August 3 event in New York City. That gives the promotion another big hook as it continues building out its first summer run.

The timing is interesting because STARDOM President Taro Okada recently stated that Syuri, Ranna Yagami, Hazuki, and Fuwa-chan will be in America during July and August. PRODUCE has not confirmed which STARDOM names will appear, so fans will have to wait for the official lineup.

This comes after PRODUCE announced its pay-per-view distribution deal with MyAEW. The company’s full summer series will stream live globally through MyAEW.com and the MyAEW app.

PRODUCE’s debut event, Volume 1 — The Octopus, is set for June 29 at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, New York. That show will feature Jonathan Gresham vs. Fuminori Abe in the main event, along with names like Deonna Purrazzo, Zack Sabre Jr., Joey Janela, Effy, Mance Warner, Steph De Lander, “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams, LaBron Kozone, Mad Dog Connelly, Amazing Red, and more.

The promotion is also building each event around a different creative approach, with active wrestlers helping co-produce the cards. Lee Moriarty’s Volume 2 — TAIGASTYLE is set for July 16 in Jersey City, while Rocky Romero’s Volume 3 — Azúcar will take place August 3 in Brooklyn.

Adding STARDOM talent gives PRODUCE another strong selling point as it tries to stand apart from the usual independent wrestling setup. The names have not been revealed yet, but the deal makes it clear that PRODUCE is reaching beyond the American indie scene for its summer events.
