Big Cass is not the only return WWE has lined up for tonight’s episode of Raw. Two more major names are now expected back on television, with Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer both set to appear after Sol Ruca faces Roxanne Perez.
Fightful Select reports that Lynch and Vaquer are planned to return following the match, which is expected to end in a no-contest. That finish appears designed to set up the post-match angle and bring both women back into the Raw women’s division at the same time.
The update adds two more surprises to a show already expected to feature Big Cass. Cass is backstage in Des Moines, Iowa, and WWE has kept him out of sight ahead of the broadcast as the company prepares to bring him back after his AEW run as Big Bill.
Lynch has been off WWE television since June after losing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy. She recently claimed WWE needed to experience life without her before she returned, and tonight appears to be the moment she finally steps back into the picture.
Vaquer has also been absent since suffering a second-degree AC joint sprain after being written off Raw in April. Her comeback had been expected around SummerSlam, but she did not appear at the event and later blacked out her social media accounts, creating even more speculation about when she would return.
Now, both women are expected to surface after Ruca and Perez fight to a no-contest. That puts Sol Ruca directly in the middle of the comeback angle and could immediately launch a new women’s storyline involving four major names.
With Big Cass, Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer all expected back, tonight’s Raw is shaping up to be loaded with returns. The biggest spoiler may not be who comes back, but what WWE does once all three are back on television.
