WWE may be ending the June 15 episode of Monday Night RAW with a monster tournament match, because early plans have Oba Femi vs. Dominik Mysterio closing the show.
According to TRNBCKL Gold, the King of the Ring semifinal match between Oba Femi and Dominik Mysterio is currently listed as the closing match for RAW. These are early plans, so things can still change before the show goes live.
That is a big spot for both men. Oba Femi has been treated like a powerhouse since arriving on RAW, while Dominik Mysterio has continued finding ways to stay in the middle of major WWE stories. Now WWE may be putting them in the final match of the night with a King of the Ring finals spot on the line.
The match also gives RAW a strong closing hook. Roman Reigns is expected to open the show under early plans, and Oba vs. Dominik may end it. That gives WWE a clear top-and-bottom structure for the night as the road to Night of Champions continues.
