Roman Reigns’ return to Monday Night RAW may hit right at the top of the show. WWE already had The OTC advertised for the June 15 episode, but early plans now point to Roman opening the broadcast and setting the tone before anyone else gets a chance to speak.
TRNBCKL Gold noted that Reigns is currently listed for the opening segment of RAW. These are early plans, so things can still change before the show goes live.
That opening spot matters. Roman missed last week’s RAW in Paris, and WWE has had plenty brewing around him while he was gone. LA Knight has continued taking shots, Jacob Fatu tried to pull Solo Sikoa back into the family on Roman’s behalf, and the road to Night of Champions is tightening up fast.
If Roman opens the show, WWE is not easing him back in. They are putting him front and center immediately, which usually means something important is coming out of that first segment.
RAW is set to air live from CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, starting at 8 PM ET on Netflix. Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage in our WWE Monday Night RAW coverage hub.
