Solo Sikoa isn’t just picking up momentum on WWE television. Apparently, fans are starting to spend money on him too.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there has been a noticeable uptick in Solo merchandise over the past month, matching the bigger role he’s been getting on television lately.
“In an update that mirrors the momentum we’ve seen building on television, WrestleVotes Radio is told that there has been an uptick in Solo Sikoa merchandise over the past month.”
One item in particular has apparently caught some attention. According to a source at Fanatics, Solo’s newly released Funko Pop has been selling better than expected.
“Particularly with his newly released Funko Pop doing better than expected according to a Fanatics source.”
That’s pretty good timing considering Solo has suddenly found himself right in the middle of one of WWE’s biggest family wars again.
During the August 17 episode of RAW, Roman Reigns looked like he was putting the Bloodline back together. He placed Ula Fala necklaces around Jimmy and Jey Uso, called them his “made men” and tried to take control of the family all over again.
Solo wasn’t interested. When Roman ordered him to attack LA Knight, Solo turned around and drilled Roman with a Samoan Spike instead. The entire thing fell apart from there, with The Usos going after Solo, Knight eventually dropping Roman with the BFT and Jacob Fatu standing in the corner without lifting a finger to save him.
Solo had a pretty simple reaction afterward: “SIKE!! 🤣🤣 #DOLO.” Then he went one step further, warning that what happened to Roman wasn’t going to stop there.
“This bloodline will fall sooner then later. You’ve been warned…PEW🤣🔫”
Now there are apparently some numbers behind all that television momentum too. Solo is getting a bigger focus, he’s right back in Roman Reigns’ business, and his merchandise has reportedly been climbing over the past month. Even his new Funko Pop is apparently outperforming expectations.
Roman might have a Bloodline problem on his hands. WWE may be discovering it has a pretty marketable Solo Sikoa problem too.
