Roman Reigns watched his whole plan blow up in his face during the August 17 episode of WWE RAW—and when he finally needed Jacob Fatu to step in, Jacob just stood there.
The closing segment started with Roman demanding Solo Sikoa be brought to him. Jacob initially did exactly what Roman wanted and jumped Solo, but Reigns repeatedly called him off and kept control of the situation himself. Things got even more awkward when Roman put Ula Fala necklaces around The Usos and called them his “made men,” while Jacob clearly wasn’t feeling the celebration.
Then LA Knight showed up and the whole thing went off the rails. Roman had The Usos hold Knight and ordered Solo to attack him. Solo instead turned around and blasted Roman with a Samoan Spike. The Usos tried to jump Solo, Knight joined the fight, and suddenly Roman’s big Bloodline moment turned into complete chaos.
Roman eventually tried to fight back with a Superman Punch, but Knight blocked it and dropped him with the BFT. Jacob Fatu saw everything—and didn’t lift a finger.
He stayed planted in the corner while Roman got laid out, then watched as Solo and Knight walked out together to end the August 17 WWE RAW. No save. No revenge. Nothing. That’s what made the ending hit harder. Roman had spent the segment barking orders at Jacob and openly putting The Usos on a pedestal, only for Fatu to suddenly decide he wasn’t getting involved when Roman was the one in trouble.
By the time RAW went off the air, Solo had turned on Roman, LA Knight had dropped the Tribal Chief, and Jacob Fatu had made one hell of a statement without saying a word.
