Seth Rollins is healthy, wrestling again and officially back around WWE. Whether that means he’ll walk through the curtain on RAW in Mexico City is still a question WWE hasn’t answered.
During a WrestleVotes Q&A on September 14, WrestleVotes was asked about Rollins potentially appearing on RAW. His recent return at WWE live events has naturally created expectations that his television comeback is next.
“After what they did bringing him back at the house show, people are expecting him. He’s healthy, and he is around.”
Rollins being healthy removes one major question, but there are still plenty of directions WWE could take him. TC pointed out that his recent live event appearances alongside LA Knight and Solo Sikoa could potentially mean something, especially after Rollins finished his program with Roman Reigns.
“Especially with him dancing with LA Knight and Solo Sikoa and everything with The Bloodline. He finished up the program with Roman Reigns. Does he still wanna go after Roman Reigns, or is he done with Roman Reigns?
We haven’t seen The Street Profits since they had the birth of their babies. They were doing that thing for a while. There’s a lot of moving parts when it comes to Seth Rollins’ return.
His status—whether he is in Mexico at all—isn’t known. I haven’t talked to anyone specifically about Seth Rollins returning.”
Rollins returned to the ring on September 9 during WWE’s South America Live Tour opener in Quito, Ecuador. It was his first match since losing to Reigns at SummerSlam on August 2, ending an absence that stretched considerably longer than WWE originally expected.
He teamed with Knight and Sikoa against The Bloodline and picked up the victory himself after hitting a Pedigree and Stomp. A few nights later in Chile, the trio showed a much different side when Rollins and Knight joined Sikoa in performing Too Cool’s famous dance routine, a nod to Sikoa’s father Rikishi.
Those appearances have established that Rollins can wrestle and is already traveling with WWE again. The only thing missing is the television return. RAW in Mexico City would certainly be a big place to do it. Whether WWE actually has Rollins waiting behind the curtain is the part nobody is giving away yet.
