Seth Rollins is not letting Roman Reigns rewrite history when it comes to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

While speaking to Prince St. Pizza, Rollins opened up about being forced to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after tearing his rotator cuff. Rollins made it clear he never lost the title in a match, which made it even harder for him to watch CM Punk and Roman Reigns battle for it at WrestleMania 42.

“So, I tore my rotator cuff back in October, but I was holding that title. I lost it. I didn’t get beaten in a match for it—I had to forfeit it because I had to go get surgery on my rotator. So I was out for five months.”

Rollins said the WrestleMania situation was especially brutal because two of his biggest rivals ended up fighting over what he still views as his championship, while the Visionary had to watch everything on the sidelines.

“CM Punk wins the title, takes it into WrestleMania, and he’s wrestling in the main event—mind you—my other rival, Roman Reigns. So you’ve got two of my worst enemies fighting each other for my title, in my main event—and I have to watch that. I have to swallow that.”

Roman ultimately walked out of WrestleMania 42 as champion, and Rollins made it clear he was disgusted by the whole thing. He then unloaded on Reigns for claiming he made the World Heavyweight Championship relevant.

“So it’s really difficult for me to feel any way other than disgusted by the result. Now Roman Reigns is walking around with my title and talking about how he made the title relevant—which is bulls***. I’ll just say it. It is complete bulls***. He knows it, I know it, everybody else knows it. He sounds like an idiot when he says it.”

Rollins clearly still sees that title as his, and he’s not giving Roman Reigns credit for anything. With Rollins expected to win the King of the Ring tournament and face Reigns at SummerSlam, this feud already has plenty of bad blood before they even face each other in the ring again.
