As seen on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, John Cena return to the SmackDown Live brand and was granted a match against AJ Styles in the main event. The stipulation for the bout was if Cena won, he’d be inserted in to the WWE Championship match at the upcoming Fastlane event. Cena ended up with the victory over Styles and the Fastlane match was changed from a Fatal 5 Way to a Fatal 6 Way.
Rusev didn’t seem very happy about this and reacted to Cena’s return on Twitter with the following remarks:
