Ric Flair says he wasn’t just left off the guest list for WrestleMania — he claims WWE flat-out banned him after things got personal.
Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Flair revealed that he was not invited to WrestleMania following an incident involving Tiffany Stratton and her then-boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser.
According to Flair, tensions escalated after Stratton made an unscripted comment about Charlotte Flair’s divorces — something he believes went too far. Flair said the situation quickly turned personal for him, and he didn’t hold back when explaining why WWE kept him away from the event.
“I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year. I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s boyfriend last year, so I wasn’t allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid being threatened by a 76-year-old man, and I can’t go to WrestleMania? Are you kidding me? He’s gonna go as far in wrestling as a gnat—he’ll be a fly on the wall in a year.”
He then broke down what led to that moment, pointing to Stratton’s remark about his daughter and suggesting it wasn’t something she came up with on her own.
“What happened? They had that thing where Tiffany made a smart remark about Ashley’s divorces, which we both know she is not smart enough to have written—someone gave her a script.”
Flair also claimed the situation escalated further based on what he saw and interpreted online, which pushed him to reach out directly and issue a threat. He wrapped it up by doubling down on his stance, making it clear he doesn’t think much of Kaiser’s standing in the business.
“He implied—I’m just going based on social media—that he was implying that he wouldn’t bump one off Ashley, and I went, ‘Okay, I need your number—I want any minute of any day.’ I called him and said, ‘When I see you, I will beat the shit out of you.’ So he went like a little bitch and told Triple H, and I wasn’t allowed to go. A 76-year-old man tells a kid he’s gonna kick his ass—where is he now? Ludwig Kaiser? Yeah—little punk.”
Bottom line — Flair isn’t denying what happened. If anything, he’s leaning into it, claiming that one heated moment was enough for WWE to shut the door on his WrestleMania appearance.
With that in mind, do you think WWE made the right call keeping Ric Flair away, or was this blown out of proportion? Let us know your thoughts.
