Paul Walter Hauser is not backing away from Roman Reigns. He is just saying WWE better have the money ready if they want him to say it face-to-face.
Hauser has been going after Reigns on Twitter after Roman appeared at UFC Freedom 250 on the White House lawn. He already explained that his issue was not just Roman showing up, but Roman using his massive platform to make the event look cool.
Then a fan pushed him on it. The fan asked why Hauser does not come to WWE and say it directly to The OTC’s face. Hauser did not dodge the challenge. He basically told them he would show up, but only if WWE pays him.
“Gladly, so long as they pay me 😁”
That is the kind of answer that keeps the whole thing alive. Hauser is not saying he is scared of Roman. He is saying if WWE wants to turn this Twitter fight into television, then it needs to be business.
Roman has not responded to Hauser’s latest jab, but Hauser is clearly enjoying this. He called Roman an “actual dork,” explained why he had a problem with the White House appearance, and now says he would say it to Roman’s face for the right price. Hauser already has wrestling ties, so this is not some random celebrity yelling from outside the business. If WWE wanted to make something out of it, the door is sitting wide open. Now the question is whether WWE wants that kind of heat anywhere near Roman Reigns.
