Paige wasted no time shutting down talk of Nikki Bella turning heel after her big WWE SmackDown return—and she used a fan’s typo to do it.

Nikki made her comeback on the July 24 episode of SmackDown after spending nearly four months on the shelf with a serious ankle injury. She stormed the ring to save Brie Bella from Fatal Influence before planting Jacy Jayne with the Rack Attack 2.0.

After the show, Paige celebrated Nikki’s return and made it clear she was fired up about teaming with the Bella Twins at SummerSlam.

“My girl Nikki is back!! You hear that pop?!!! And Brie absolutely killing it in the match. Couldn’t be more excited about tonight. SummerSlam gonna be wild.”

Nikki and Brie returned the love and called the upcoming match a dream scenario.

“Aww, me too! So excited! Such a dream with you two!!”

That is when one fan tried to stir the pot by saying they could not wait for a “heal turn,” misspelling the wrestling term “heel.” Paige saw the opening and fired back with a joke about the ankle injury that kept Nikki out of action.

“There’ll be no ‘heal turn.’ Her ankle is healed!!”

Nikki had not appeared on WWE television since the March 27 episode of SmackDown, where she injured her ankle while teaming with Brie against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. While Nikki recovered, Paige stepped into her spot alongside Brie and won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Now Nikki is back, and the three women are set to face Fatal Influence at SummerSlam.

Paige was clearly joking, but wrestling fans never ignore heel-turn talk—especially when three major stars are being thrown into the same storyline. For now, Nikki’s ankle is healed, the team is united and Fatal Influence is the target.
