Will Ospreay will kick off the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. The newly crowned AEW World Champion is opening tonight’s show on TBS and HBO Max following his massive victory at All In.
Ospreay defeated Kenny Omega in the main event at Wembley Stadium to capture the AEW World Championship in front of his home-country crowd. AEW has not revealed exactly what Ospreay plans to say, but fans will not have to wait long to hear from the new champion. The opening segment joins an already loaded post-All In lineup.
Mercedes Moné will hold an AEW Women’s World Championship celebration after defeating Willow Nightingale for the title. Her celebration could also reveal who plans to challenge the CEO first.
Swerve Strickland, Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed will make their first defense of the AEW World Trios Championship against The Rascalz. The trio captured the titles during the Trios Roulette match at All In.
