Omos just did it again. “The Nigerian Giant” steamrolled his way through the 15-Man Copa Bardahl during AAA TripleMania 34 Night Two on September 13, 2026, scoring the victory at Arena CDMX in Mexico City and winning the match for the second year in a row.
The match started with Mr. Iguana and Abismo Negro Jr. before the field continued filling up with names including Histeria, Mascarita Sagrada, Taurus, El Fiscal, Laredo Kid, Mecha Wolf, La Parka, El Mesias, Dinamico and Texano Jr.
Then Omos arrived, and the entire match changed. Omos immediately started cleaning house and eliminated Texano Jr., Laredo Kid, El Mesias, Mecha Wolf and La Parka in rapid fashion. Chris Carter entered next, but his time in the match barely got started before Omos caught him and dumped him out as well.
Nino Hamburguesa entered last and went right after the WWE giant, but that didn’t stop the destruction. Omos eliminated Mr. Iguana before Mascarita Sagrada eliminated himself, leaving Hamburguesa standing between Omos and another Copa Bardahl victory.
That didn’t last long. Omos eliminated Hamburguesa to officially win the 15-Man Copa Bardahl, giving him the trophy for the second consecutive year. After the match, Omos stood tall in the ring and raised the trophy over his head as the Mexico City crowd watched another dominant performance from “The Nigerian Giant.”
Winning Copa Bardahl once was already a major moment for Omos, but doing it two years in a row makes it clear AAA has positioned him as an absolute wrecking ball whenever he steps into this match.
What do you think about Omos winning the Copa Bardahl for the second straight year, and should AAA give him an even bigger match next? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
