Another notable name is out of WWE, and this one comes with an Olympic background.

Ringside News has confirmed that Tamyra Mensah-Stock, who competed in WWE as Tayra Mae Steel, is gone from the company.

Mensah-Stock made headlines before joining WWE after winning a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. She signed with WWE in 2023 and quickly became part of the company’s developmental system.

During her WWE run, she gained attention after winning the women’s division in the first season of WWE Legends & Future Greats, earning an WWE NXT contract while being mentored by The Undertaker.

She went on to become a regular presence on WWE EVOLVE, and also appeared on WWE NXT and WWE NXT Level Up during her time with the company.

Her exit adds another recognizable name to WWE’s growing list of releases, which has continued expanding across both the main roster and developmental system.

Do you think WWE should have kept Tamyra Mensah-Stock around longer, or does this release make sense given the current roster changes? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
