Nikki Cross is officially back in the ring for the first time after her WWE release.
Three months after announcing her departure from WWE, the former RAW Women’s Champion made her first wrestling appearance at Over The Top Wrestling’s After Dark event, where she reunited with her husband, Big Damo, for a memorable moment in Ireland.
Cross got involved during Damo’s tag team bout, stepping in to help her husband and giving fans their first look at her back inside a wrestling ring since her WWE exit. After the show, Cross reflected on the night in an Instagram post, revealing how special the reunion was after years of conflicting schedules.
“Hey there @damomackle Thank you for the invite tonight, glad I could lend you a hand 😌❤️ After having conflicting schedules for the better part of ten years, it felt damn nice to be in a ring again with my love ❤️ The Best in the Galaxy at @over_the_top_wrestling tonight! See you all in August ⚡️🌌”
The final line immediately caught fans’ attention. By telling supporters, “See you all in August,” Cross appears to have already confirmed that this won’t be a one-off appearance, with another Over The Top Wrestling event on the horizon.
Cross had been away from wrestling since her WWE exit in April, when she shared an emotional farewell message thanking the company, her colleagues, and mentors William Regal and Robbie Brookside after nearly a decade with WWE.
Now, her in-ring return marks the beginning of the next chapter of her career—and if her latest message is any indication, she’s only getting started.
