It looks like Nikki Cross is officially gone from WWE. After reports surfaced earlier in the day about backstage concern over possible roster cuts, Cross took to social media on April 24, 2026, to post a farewell message that makes it clear her time with the company has come to an end.

Her message didn’t hint at uncertainty or a hiatus — it read like a full goodbye, thanking WWE and the people who helped her along the way.

“Goodbye and Thank you WWE

I’m really excited for whatever my next chapter will hold.

Thank you all for the continued love and support.

Special thank you to Robbie Brookside and William Regal for helping this dream come true.

Thank you to the wrestlers, coaches, producers and all the backstage crew who make all this possible.

To the amazing girls in locker room ❤️”

The timing of Cross’ message comes as speculation about WWE talent cuts had already been spreading internally. Earlier in the day, Fightful Select reported that concern had been building among talent, even without official confirmation of releases. That report stated the level of concern backstage had grown noticeable among wrestlers.

“There is huge speculation about talent cuts today in WWE, to the point talent are worried. We have not heard anything regarding that, and almost never do until they happen.”

While WWE has not yet released an official statement regarding Cross’ departure, her farewell message strongly signals that her run with the company has ended.

Cross joined WWE in 2016 and went on to capture multiple championships during her run, including the RAW Women’s Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Known for her unpredictable persona and high-energy style, she remained a recognizable presence across multiple brands during her time with the company.

Her departure now adds real weight to the earlier speculation that talent cuts could be underway, especially as more names may begin to surface.
