WWE already appears to have major plans lined up for Nikki Blackheart before she has even officially debuted on NXT television.

After recently competing in a dark match under the ring name “Martinez,” a new update now claims Blackheart is expected to become part of WWE’s upcoming NXT reshuffle this summer.

According to Rope Break, Blackheart is currently slated to officially debut as WWE prepares for more movement between NXT and the main roster in the coming months.

The update follows earlier reports revealing that WWE quietly signed Blackheart to a developmental contract after she quickly shot up the company’s internal priority list following WrestleMania 2025. One of the biggest reasons for WWE’s sudden interest reportedly came from Bayley, who strongly pushed for the company to take a closer look at Blackheart behind the scenes.

Blackheart completed her WWE tryout earlier this year before relocating to Orlando under a standard developmental deal tied to the Performance Center and NXT system. Before entering wrestling, Blackheart worked as a cheerleader for the NHL’s Florida Panthers before later training under WWE Hall of Famer Gangrel.

Now it looks like Nikki Blackheart may be one of the fresh names WWE wants stepping into that spotlight. With Bayley going to bat for her internally and WWE already positioning her for the summer shake-up, the company clearly sees serious upside in the newcomer.

Do you think Nikki Blackheart could become WWE’s next breakout NXT star, and what do you think about Bayley helping open the door for her? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
