Nikki Bella and Chelsea Green’s title match was already getting dragged all over social media, but apparently fans weren’t done beating the hell out of it yet. The match has now made its way to Cagematch, and let’s just say the numbers are downright brutal.

At the time of writing, Green vs. Bella from the October 30 episode of SmackDown is sitting at an absolutely miserable 1.15 out of 10. That puts it among the lowest-rated WWE matches on the site, and the written reviews somehow manage to be even nastier than the score. One fan basically decided subtlety was overrated and unloaded on both women while arguing that Green shouldn’t be anywhere near the WWE Women’s Championship.

“When you put s*** against poop, you’ll get diarrhea. Chelsea Green is not world champion material. Michael Hayes was dead-on with his comments on Unreal but everyone lashed out with fake outrage because of how unlikeable Hayes is. God help the SmackDown women’s division.”

Another reviewer called it one of the worst matches they’d ever watched. They also claimed the building was so quiet that they could hear spots being called and ripped apart the finish involving Green getting her foot on the ropes.

“Truly one of the worst matches I’ve ever seen. The crowd was so dead you could hear them call the spots live. The finish was also really bad where Green botched putting her foot on the ropes. Please can this never happen ever again, seriously. Please this was awful.”

And this isn’t exactly Cagematch suddenly starting the hate train. Fans were already pissed after Green retained the title against Bella on SmackDown, especially after WWE spent months building Nikki back up before finally giving her a championship opportunity. One viewer couldn’t believe all of that buildup ended with Nikki getting caught in a roll-up.

“Months of Nikki build up to have her lose on a roll up pin?? and the hall of famer doesn’t have the where with all to not put her opponents feet on the ropes 💀 and then we follow that up with ANOTHER fake cash in 😂😂😂 s**** a joke lol”

Another fan didn’t even care about the booking argument because they thought the actual match sucked. They slammed the lack of chemistry between Bella and Green and made it pretty clear they never want to see round two.

“No heat from the fans in the building. No chemistry in the ring. I hope we never see Nikki Bella against Chelsea Green again. This match was terrible.”

Then there were fans who saw Nikki’s loss as part of a bigger problem with how WWE handles returning legends. One viewer went directly after Triple H, accusing the company of hyping those names up only to make them look weak once they’re actually back.

“Bull crap.!! I remember the time @TripleH was the best. I’m 34..the company give legends a shit show.!! Hall of famers… make them weak… bring people back and hype them but make them lose every match,!! Same people win…”

The finish certainly didn’t do much to calm anybody down. Nikki hit the Rack Attack 2.0 and looked like she might actually walk away with the championship, only for Green to get her feet onto the bottom rope before eventually catching Bella with the roll-up for the three-count.

A controversial finish getting angry reactions on social media is nothing new in wrestling. Landing at 1.15 on Cagematch is a different level of getting cooked, though, and right now Bella and Green have the unfortunate distinction of being attached to a match that reviewers on the site absolutely hated.
