Total Divas might not be as dead as everyone thought. Nattie Neidhart says she and The Bella Twins have never stopped fighting to bring the show back—and Nick Khan is apparently listening.
Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Nattie Neidhart revealed that getting Total Divas revived remains something she and The Bellas are actively pushing for years after the reality series disappeared.
“The Bella Twins and myself have never ever stopped fighting for Total Divas to come back. We want it back more than anything, and we are not taking our foot off the gas on it, so to speak.”
Nattie believes WWE has an entirely new generation of women who could make a revival work. She specifically pointed to Blake Monroe, Izzi Dame, Bianca Belair and Lash Legend as examples of talent who have talked about the influence Total Divas had on them.
“People just love the show. So many women superstars in WWE that are coming in, like Blake Monroe, gosh, like Izzi Dame, Bianca Belair, Lash Legend, they’re all saying, ‘We wanted to get into WWE because we love that show.’ And so you see so many women that were inspired by Total Divas and what we did on that show. And like, I was lucky enough and fortunate enough to be on that show for all nine seasons. I was the only cast member that was never not on the show, because I was full of a lot of drama, too.”
The more interesting part is that their campaign apparently isn’t stopping with conversations between Natalya and The Bellas. Nick Khan knows what they want. Natalya said the WWE President has been supportive and, more importantly, willing to hear them out whenever they bring ideas his way.
“It’s a show that is extremely special to me. And like I said, the Bellas and I are not—we’re not taking our foot off the gas because we want the show to happen. And I feel like the powers that be, especially, you know, Nick Khan, like he’s so supportive of us and he’s so collaborative with us, and he’s so—he’s very much like, he listens to us.”
That doesn’t mean Khan has given Total Divas the green light. Natalya was careful not to announce something that hasn’t happened, but it certainly sounds like the door isn’t being slammed in their faces either.
“So, it’s great. It’s great having a boss that just is like, ‘Okay, you guys want to do something? How is it going to be good? What are we going to do?’ Again, I’m not, you know, not saying that we’re there yet, but Nick is somebody that, like I said, we got ideas, he’s willing to listen.”
Then Natalya dropped the part Total Divas fans will probably care about most.
“So, there’s a potential that it could be coming soon, but we’re still just kind of waiting.”
For now, waiting is the key word. There is no confirmed revival, no premiere date and no announcement that another season has been ordered. Natalya and The Bellas simply aren’t giving up until somebody gives them the opportunity.
“We’re just, like I said, we’re waiting for—we’re waiting for the opportunity. We keep putting it out into the universe. And I feel like if it’s meant to be, it will be. And it’ll be big. If it happens, it’ll be bigger and better than it ever was.”
Nine seasons apparently weren’t enough for Natalya and The Bella Twins. They’re still fighting for number ten, Nick Khan is willing to hear the pitches, and Natalya now says there is at least potential for Total Divas to return “soon.” They just need WWE to finally say yes.
