Dave Batista, who was one of the rumored names to be inducted into the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Class, may not be inducted next year if he and WWE reach a deal for him to return for one last final run with the company.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that some within the company are pushing for Jim Johnston, who was the music composer for the company, to be inducted. It’s very unlikely that this would happen this year due to politics.
Current names being rumored for the 2018 class include The Dudleys, Bam Bam Bigelow, Kid Rock, Ivory and Bill Goldberg. It’s possible more names pop up in the coming months, as we get closer to the ceremony that’s held over WrestleMania weekend.
