Mercedes Moné is not exactly rushing back to WWE, unless they’re saving her a Hall of Fame spot.
Moné responded to a fan on Instagram who asked the question she clearly keeps getting: when is she returning to WWE? Mercedes didn’t write a whole speech. She gave one answer and kept it moving.
“when they induct me into the HOF”
That pretty much says it all. Mercedes has been back in AEW for well over a month and already punched her ticket to All In London, and she has already made it clear she is tired of every AEW moment turning into WWE fantasy booking.
This is not the first time she has shut that door either. After one fan asked her to wrestle Alexa Bliss again, Moné pointed them toward YouTube instead of entertaining the idea: “Go to@youtube.” She also previously told fans to stop asking when she is going back to her former company, because she is happy where she is right now.
“For the love of all of my fans, please don’t start asking me when I’m coming back to ‘you know where.’ I’m in a good mood, I’m in a good place. I’m tired of that question.”
So yeah, Mercedes Moné’s WWE answer has not changed. She is in AEW, she is moving forward, and if fans want a WWE return, they may have to wait until somebody starts writing a Hall of Fame speech.
