Sophie Rain has already made it clear she’s interested in WWE, but Mandy Rose thinks she should think carefully before walking through those doors. After building a massive business on her own, Rose questioned whether going to WWE might actually be taking a step backwards.
Speaking to TMZ Inside the Ring, Rose brought up Rain’s previous appearance on the show while discussing subscription-based content and her own top spenders. She had already commented on Rain’s WWE ambitions publicly, but admitted there was something stronger she originally wanted to say.
“And, yeah, and speaking about speaking with Sophie Rain, I was dying at her trying to get to WWE with you guys in her interview. I commented, but what I really wanted to say was like, ‘Girl, Sophie, uh, do you really want to go backwards?’”
Rose wasn’t simply taking a shot at WWE or telling Rain not to wrestle. Her point was that Rain has already built what she described as an “amazing empire,” so she believes Rain needs to understand exactly what she brings to the table before making that move.
“Well, honestly, I just, you know, I know she’s built this, you know, amazing empire, and, you know, what I would tell her is just like before she walks through those doors, just make sure she knows her worth because I think that’s really important.”
Rose knows the WWE system firsthand after spending years with the company before her release in December 2022. If Rain seriously wants to pursue that path, Rose even offered to be the person she calls before making the jump.
“You know, she can give a girl a call if she needs some advice because I’ve been through a lot with them.”
That experience doesn’t mean Rose regrets WWE. She credited the company for giving her major opportunities and called it an “amazing platform,” but she also questioned whether Rain would actually want everything that comes with becoming and remaining a WWE Superstar.
“Listen, I give her a lot of credit for the empire she’s built. And, you know, and listen, there’s no shame to WWE either. It’s an amazing platform. I’m super blessed for all the opportunities it presented itself with, but like I said, I mean, you know, she’s really got to know what it takes to get to WWE and also to stay there. And, you know, and I don’t know if she’s going to want to take that route, to be honest.”
Then came the wrestling part. Rain had previously discussed getting someone to train her in boxing while talking about a possible WWE future. Rose heard that and immediately pointed out that boxing gloves aren’t going to make taking a wrestling bump any more comfortable.
“Get those gloves on. Go in the ring and take a nice bump. And then let me know how those gloves protect you from that bump from your back. That I want to know.”
Rain’s WWE interest came up during her own chaotic Inside the Ring appearance. She initially said she would be open to joining the company and envisioned herself as a babyface before host Branson Quirke suggested a storyline involving her sleeping with wrestlers backstage because of her OnlyFans career. That interview eventually completely broke down, with Rain arguing with Quirke, challenging him to box and ultimately walking out after throwing her bag at him twice.
Rose isn’t telling Rain to forget about WWE. She’s telling someone who already built a lucrative career outside wrestling to make sure she understands both her value and what WWE will demand before deciding that becoming a Superstar is the next step up.
