Logan Paul’s WWE In-Ring Return Chances Collapse as October Deadline Closes In

Logan Paul wants back in a WWE ring, but anyone betting on that happening before the end of October has almost completely bailed on the idea. With Paul still recovering from a torn triceps and WWE officials telling him November is the earliest realistic return window, a prediction market tracking his comeback has dropped all the way to a 5% chance.

Prediction markets have become another way for fans to follow how expectations change around major events, injuries and returns. Those tracking Paul’s recovery can use a Polymarket referral code to access the platform and follow how traders are pricing his chances as the October deadline gets closer.

Polymarket is currently asking whether Paul will return to the WWE ring before October 31, 2026, and the answer from traders is overwhelmingly “No.” The market opened on August 13 and has generated more than $2,100 in trading volume, but the odds have cratered as Paul’s medical timeline became clearer.

That drop makes a lot more sense now than it did when the market first opened. As Ringside News previously covered, Paul was told directly in September that he should not expect to be medically cleared until at least November, despite feeling like his recovery was moving faster than expected. Paul confronted WWE producer Michael Hayes backstage after hearing Hayes had been telling people that he was not medically cleared. Hayes did not leave much room for interpretation.

“You’re not. You’re not cleared till at least November.”

Paul immediately pushed back, but Hayes explained that the timeline had come from Bruce Prichard and Paul “Triple H” Levesque after they spoke with WWE’s medical team. That conversation all but killed the idea of an October comeback unless something changes dramatically.

Paul has been sidelined since tearing his triceps during a World Tag Team Championship defense at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23. He later explained that the injury happened when Angelo Dawkins came over the ropes and landed awkwardly on him, causing Paul to fold onto himself. Ringside News covered Paul’s explanation of the injury after he broke down exactly how the damage happened.

The injury required surgery, and doctors initially gave Paul a six-month recovery timeline. Paul immediately laughed off that estimate and insisted he would beat it, but that six-month window would put him right around late November anyway. After undergoing surgery, Paul made it clear he had no intention of staying sidelined that long.

“They’re telling me 6 month recovery but I don’t believe them, I’ll be back in a couple weeks.”

That comeback talk continued through the summer. Paul eventually got back into the gym and said he had been cleared to throw clotheslines, even describing himself as “semi-cleared.” Ringside News covered that positive step in his recovery, but being able to train is obviously very different from being cleared for an actual WWE match.

That difference is exactly why the prediction market has moved so hard against him. The current Polymarket page gives Paul only a 5% chance of wrestling before October 31. The chart shows that number sitting dramatically higher when the market first opened before sliding throughout September and into October as more information about his recovery came out.

Paul has continued appearing on WWE television during his recovery, so he has hardly disappeared from the company. The problem is that appearing with The Vision and actually taking bumps inside a WWE ring are two completely different things, and WWE’s medical staff clearly isn’t interested in rushing him back.

At this point, October is looking like a lost cause for Paul’s in-ring return. Unless WWE’s medical team suddenly changes course, the real question is no longer whether he beats the October 31 deadline — it is how quickly WWE can get him back into the mix once November arrives.

Do you think Logan Paul will actually be cleared in November, or could his WWE return get pushed back even further? Let us know what you think in the comments.
