Logan Paul is already talking like his comeback will be much quicker than expected after undergoing surgery for his torn triceps.

Paul took to Instagram and confirmed that he had successful surgery after suffering the injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He also shared several photos after the procedure, including shots showing his stitches: “Tore my tricep, got surgery while wide awake, told doc I wanna feel it all.”

Paul made it clear that he still considers himself one-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions, even though he is now sidelined: “Still the Tag Team champ just FYI.” Doctors may be telling Paul that he is looking at a six-month recovery, but he is not buying that timeline. He claimed he plans to be back much sooner while also plugging Prime and Ripit.

“They’re telling me 6 month recovery but I don’t believe them, I’ll be back in a couple weeks with some @drinkprime shake (32g protein). Good news I can still rip packs bc @ripit about to launch. Keep that title warm for me @wwe @austin_theory @paulheyman @bronbreakkerwwe. @bronsonishere let’s hang out”

This comes after Michael Cole announced on the May 25 episode of Monday Night RAW from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, that Paul tore his triceps at Saturday Night’s Main Event and would be out for several months.

Logan Paul may be sidelined, but he is already pushing back on the expected recovery time. Whether WWE keeps him officially tied to the tag titles during his absence remains to be seen, but Paul clearly wants everyone to know he still views himself as champion.
