Roman Reigns’ subscription service is already dead less than a month after it launched, and one serial leaker appears to be at the center of why it disappeared. Fans who paid for Reigns’ exclusive behind-the-scenes content are now being told their subscriptions have been canceled and refunds are available.

Subscribers began receiving notices on August 31 confirming that Reigns is no longer offering the service: “Your subscription to romanreigns has been canceled. You can request a refund now.” Another notification warned that subscribers could still temporarily see a charge for the next month, but that money would be returned.

“romanreigns is no longer offering a subscription. You might be charged for next month, but you’ll be refunded for this.”

The service had only been around since August 6. Reigns launched it as a way to give paying fans access to parts of his life they normally wouldn’t see, including behind-the-scenes footage, his day-to-day process and what goes through his mind before WWE shows.

“I just wanna be able to give you a look inside of my world a little bit.”

The problem was that some of that exclusive content wasn’t staying exclusive. A user going by D Baby had been leaking Reigns’ premium posts and making them available for free, essentially allowing people to see material others were paying to access. Reigns ultimately pulled the plug on the subscription service following those leaks.

Reigns hasn’t publicly addressed the shutdown himself or named D Baby as the reason, so exactly how much the leaks factored into his decision remains unclear. Either way, something designed to give paying fans a rare look inside Roman Reigns’ world lasted less than four weeks. Now the subscription is gone, refunds are being offered, and the premium content apparently wasn’t staying behind the paywall anyway.
