Logan Paul isn’t thinking about leaving WWE anytime soon.
While appearing on The Stephen A. Smith Show, the former United States Champion revealed he wants to wrestle for at least another five years, and if everything goes according to plan, he hopes his WWE career stretches well beyond that.
“So, she’s two, right? And man, WWE’s hard. I would love to do WWE for a minimum another five years.”
For Logan, that’s only the starting point. He admitted he’d love to become one of the rare celebrity wrestlers who sticks around long enough to build a career lasting a decade or more.
“Maybe I’ll be one of those guys who has a 10-15 year career. You know, and maybe they’ll stop booing me eventually. Not that that’s what I want, but like maybe they’ll start cheering at one point.”
One of the biggest reasons behind that goal has nothing to do with championships or main events. Logan said he wants his daughter to grow up old enough to see him perform live and understand what her father built inside a WWE ring.
“However, if I’m on the shorter side, like I don’t know… I’d be very lucky if my daughter could see me professionally wrestle. I think it would be really cool for her to see her dad do something that he loves and is good at in front of the people so she understands kind of who her dad is.”
Later in the interview, Stephen A. Smith asked what comes after wrestling, especially with Logan already running successful businesses outside WWE. Despite those opportunities, Logan said he isn’t looking toward an exit because professional wrestling is still where he feels most fulfilled creatively.
“It’s a great question. To be honest with you, I’m still kind of figuring it out. I love collectibles. I’m making a play in the collectible industry right now. But WWE is my focus. And I don’t even know what I would do otherwise. I like creating. And in the WWE I get to create. I get to… people feel. I get to tell stories and paint on the canvas that is the mat. And build these matches and use my body to express the story that we’re trying to tell. I find it all very beautiful and I really enjoy it.”
For now, Logan isn’t counting down the years—he’s trying to add more to them. Whether his WWE career ends after five years or eventually reaches the 10-to-15-year mark he hopes for, one thing is clear: stepping away isn’t on his mind anytime soon.
“Dude, I’ll be doing it as long as I possibly can.”
Five more years would already make Logan Paul one of the longest-lasting celebrity stars in WWE history. If he eventually reaches the 10-to-15-year career he envisions, the conversation around him may shift from outsider to one of the company’s most successful long-term investments.
