Liv Morgan has officially entered the conversation after Netflix removed Becky Lynch’s shot about her and Dominik Mysterio from the August 3 episode of WWE RAW.
The line created plenty of attention when Lynch took aim at Morgan during their confrontation on RAW. Lynch mocked Liv’s claim to being the greatest Women’s World Champion before getting personal about her relationship with Dominik.
“You’re not even the greatest women’s champion to sleep with Dominik Mysterio.”
The comment aired live, but Netflix later removed it from the RAW replay. Ringside News later reported that Lynch did not go into business for herself, as the line was scripted and known about by Paul “Triple H” Levesque and others before the show. Now Morgan has responded to the situation, and she used Netflix itself to fire back.
“I heard @netflix does in fact think that I am the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time… Especially the greatest that’s slept with @DomMysterio35 😌😜🖕”
Morgan’s response makes light of Netflix removing Lynch’s insult while also throwing the line right back in Becky’s direction. The original edit sparked questions because WWE had approved the remark before it aired. Netflix viewers watching RAW live heard Lynch’s shot, while anyone going back to watch the replay received an edited version without it.
Netflix has made several changes to WWE replays involving language, blood and other content, but Morgan clearly isn’t bothered by this one. If anything, she’s using the edit as ammunition against Lynch.
