Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed have arrived in AEW. The former New Day members made their company debut during AEW All In 2026, joining Swerve Strickland as the mystery team in the Trios Royal Roulette match at Wembley Stadium.
Swerve Strickland walked onto the stage first before Kingston and Creed were revealed as his partners. The trio entered the match as the seventh and final team, giving the London crowd one of the biggest surprises of the show.
Kingston and Creed are leaving The New Day name behind as they begin this next chapter. The two were introduced under their new team name, “The New Level,” giving them a fresh identity for their AEW run.
Their debut came after Fightful Select confirmed on August 29 that Kingston and Creed were headed to AEW barring an unforeseen catastrophe. The two had not reached a deal two weeks earlier, but negotiations accelerated and an agreement was worked out within the final weeks before All In. WrestleVotes Radio had also revealed that people inside AEW expected the duo to appear at All In.
“After speaking with sources, we’re told there are those within the company expecting former New Day members Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston to make their AEW debuts this weekend at All In.”
While there was no stamped confirmation at the time, the internal belief was that both men were AEW-bound and could surface at Wembley Stadium.
“While we don’t have a stamped confirmation on that happening, the belief from two different sources we spoke to is that the feeling internally is that the legendary duo are indeed AEW-bound, with an appearance at Wembley Stadium this weekend well within the realm of possibilities.”
That speculation is over. Kingston and Creed are now AEW talent, The New Level has been unveiled, and the decorated duo began their run alongside former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland on the company’s biggest stage.
