Kendal Grey is already building momentum in NXT, but she’s not rushing the next step when it comes to getting a main roster call-up.

With several recent call-ups shaking up WWE, names like Ethan Page and Joe Hendry landing on RAW, and Fatal Influence debuting on SmackDown, attention has naturally shifted to who could be next. Grey, who has already found success after her EVOLVE Women’s Championship run and quickly became a regular on NXT TV, is definitely in that conversation.

Speaking to Going Ringside, Grey was asked directly about the possibility of a main roster call-up and whether she’s preparing for that moment. Instead of leaning into the hype, she made it clear she’s focused on growth and letting things happen naturally.

“For me, I think getting called up and everything will happen when it’s supposed to happen—timing is everything. I know that for me, I have so much to learn and so much to grow, and NXT—I love my time here and I’m enjoying every single moment.”

Kendal Grey also made it very clear that her current mindset is about maximizing every opportunity she’s getting right now rather than looking too far ahead.

“So I’m just taking every opportunity and making the most out of it.”

So at the end of the day, while others are making the jump, Kendal Grey isn’t trying to force it. She’s focused on improving, staying ready, and letting the call-up come when the time is right.
