Kelly Kincaid is opening up about life after WWE, and it sounds like her future in wrestling is anything but certain.

Back in February, Kincaid — formerly known as Quinn McKay in Ring of Honor — revealed that her WWE contract was expiring and that she was not offered a renewal. That announcement marked the end of an eight-year stretch working in wrestling across ROH and WWE.

Now, she’s provided a personal update that sheds light on where her life is heading next, and it includes stepping away from wrestling while reconnecting with something she loved before entering the industry.

In a post shared on Instagram, Kincaid reflected on how deeply wrestling shaped her life, admitting that much of her identity had been tied to the characters she played on screen. She spoke about how different her WWE experience felt compared to her time in Ring of Honor, while still expressing appreciation for the opportunities she had.

“I didn’t have an identity outside of work for eight years. I’ve never had more fun in my life than when I was Quinn McKay at Ring of Honor. I poured my heart and soul into her, and I like to think it showed.”

She also addressed the challenges of adapting to WWE’s system, explaining that the experience pushed her in new directions creatively, even if it wasn’t always what she personally would have chosen.

“WWE was another story. It’s a rewarding, but very demanding, job. Everything I thought I knew about my craft was dissected, analyzed, and turned around. It wasn’t better or worse than what was expected of me at ROH, it was just different.”

One of the biggest takeaways from her message came when she admitted she doesn’t know whether she’ll ever return to wrestling at all. That uncertainty reflects how much she has been reevaluating her life since leaving WWE.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever return to wrestling.”

Since leaving WWE, Kincaid revealed that she has returned to roller derby, a passion she had before entering wrestling. She explained that rediscovering that part of her life has helped her reconnect with who she was before stepping into the wrestling spotlight.

“I’ve started playing roller derby again. It’s given me my life back.”

Her message closed with an invitation for people in the Orlando area to come watch her skate, describing roller derby as something that gives her the same rush as wrestling — just in a different form.

For now, Kincaid’s future in wrestling remains unclear, but her latest update makes it clear that she’s focusing on rediscovering herself outside the ring.
