Jey Uso tried to fire back at the internet, but that post didn’t last.
The WWE star deleted his “grown ass man” message after fans flooded his replies over the latest drama surrounding his personal life. Uso’s wife filed for divorce, and fans were already talking about his rumored relationship with NXT Superstar Jaida Parker. Once Jey jumped on X with a defiant message, the internet jumped right back. Jey kept the post short, but it was loud.
“IM A GROWN ASS MAN.”
That was all it took. Fans immediately started dragging the post into his divorce situation, and the replies got messy fast. The message spread around X, but it didn’t stay up for long. Jey later deleted the post, which only added more attention to the whole thing.
The timing didn’t help him. The divorce filing had already put his personal life under a microscope, and fans were also bringing up the chatter about Jaida Parker. Jey already told fans to leave Parker alone, but that didn’t stop people from connecting the dots online.
The post also drew proposed Community Notes on X. One note joked that he was a “grown ass divorced man,” while another brought up allegations about his personal life and linked them to recent online talk. Neither note was publicly shown on X because they did not get enough ratings.
Still, the damage was already done. Jey’s post became another piece of the story, and deleting it made it look like he wanted to shut things down before the backlash got worse.
As of now, Jey Uso has not publicly explained why he deleted the post. He has not addressed the proposed Community Notes either. The only clear thing is that his attempt to push back at fans did not go the way he probably wanted. Jey Uso is still one of WWE’s biggest stars, but this is the kind of personal-life drama that fans are not going to ignore. He sent out four words, the internet pounced, and then the post disappeared.
