WWE fans are never quiet when they want their voices heard. This is very true for Jey Uso right now, and he’s hearing a lot about his recent personal life development online.
Jey Uso’s wife filed for divorce, and it didn’t take long for the internet to comment. This announcement came long after the news broke that Uso has already started a relationship with NXT Superstar Jaida Parker.
The internet is never going to be defeated, but Jey Uso decided that he wanted to put out his own message as fans commented away on his personal life. In a post on X, Uce wrote four simple words that he might soon regret.
“IM A GROWN ASS MAN.”
This message in all caps was seen by fans, and they didn’t go easy on him. Fans commented in droves on the former World Heavyweight Champion’s post, and they didn’t seem too happy about it.
X’s Community Notes also slapped a notice on his post, and the additional commentary didn’t paint Jey Uso in the best light at all. The post quickly gained attention, but it wasn’t just because of what he wrote. Community Notes users immediately started submitting context tied to recent reports about his personal life.
One proposed Community Note read, “He’s a grown ass divorced man,” and linked to a TMZ report about his wife filing for divorce after their 12-year marriage. Another proposed note stated, “Joshua ‘Main Event Jey Uso’ Fatu cheated on his wife with Tiana ‘Jaida Parker’ Caffey. These are the actions of a child not a ‘Grown Ass Man,'” while linking to a report discussing those allegations.
It should be noted that neither Community Note has received enough ratings to appear publicly on X, and both remain labeled “Needs more ratings” and “Not shown on X.”
As of now, Jey Uso hasn’t addressed the Community Notes or responded to the claims attached to his post. He did send out a message to fans that they need to leave Jaida Parker alone, but only time will tell how this all pans out.
