Jey Uso has heard all the noise, seen all the dislikes, and now he is making one thing very clear — he is done caring.

After weeks of fans tearing apart his King of the Ring run and smashing the dislike button on WWE’s social media, Jey finally addressed the backlash during an interview with Jackie Redmond and his message was pretty simple — he’s over it. Jey admitted he sees every nasty comment, every criticism, and every complaint that pops up online, but he’s reached the point where he’s no longer losing sleep over it.

“I really don’t care about the fans anymore. Because when I was doing my thing, they saw the hate. I can’t miss it. It’s all in my face. Social media is what it is. When my name pops up, I see it all there.”

This comes after Jey’s June 19 SmackDown victory over Je’Von Evans turned into a lightning rod for fan criticism. Many fans felt Evans was the wrestler who needed the breakout win, not Jey, and they made sure WWE knew about it. At the time, WWE’s YouTube upload of the match had racked up 177,800 views, but the reaction was brutal, with just 6,598 likes stacked against 21,809 dislikes.

Jey Uso isn’t pretending those numbers don’t exist either. In fact, he says some of his clips are among the most disliked videos WWE has posted.

“I’ll let you all know — most disliked videos on WWE’s social media platforms. Look it up, Uce. Like five, six, ten videos out there. It’s all good.”

That doesn’t mean he’s throwing himself a pity party. If anything, Jey says the hate has become motivation. At the same time, Jey says he hasn’t forgotten the fans who have supported him throughout his singles run.

“If anything, that thing lit a fire under me. All the noise, all the opinions — cool, it’s part of the job. It’s 50/50, man. I’m confused. It’s pulling me left and right. My Day Ones know who they are. But there are a lot of people who doubted me and still doubt me even now.”

Now, all eyes are on Night of Champions in Riyadh, where Jey will meet Oba Femi in the King of the Ring finals. The winner walks away with the crown and a guaranteed world title match at SummerSlam, giving Jey a chance to silence critics in the biggest way possible.

Whether fans are cheering him, booing him, or hammering the dislike button, Jey Uso seems ready to embrace being one of WWE’s most polarizing stars. The only thing left to see is whether beating Oba Femi will change anyone’s mind.

Do you think Jey Uso is justified in tuning out fan criticism, or is the backlash to his push warranted? Drop your thoughts below and let us know where you stand.
