Je’Von Evans has been lighting up WWE rings with wild athletic moves, but he’s already thinking ahead about what it takes to stay at the top. While fans know him for flying around and pulling off eye-catching spots, Evans made it clear he doesn’t plan to rely on that style forever.

During his appearance on the Club 520 podcast, the conversation turned to his high-flying style and how those big moments have helped him stand out early in his WWE run. That’s when Evans opened up about why he’s doing those moves now — and why he knows they won’t carry him for his entire career.

“Honestly, it's just something that I'm doing right now for real, you know what I mean? I want to be like a top dog here, you know? I know like me doing all this, you know, these cool moves is going to get my foot in the door, but it's not going to keep me in the room. You know what I mean? So I'm doing what I'm doing all this now just to, you know, have fun with the crowd and build a connection with the kids, you know what I mean? Stuff like that. But you know by the time I get older you know I'm trying to be one of them dogs you know something that you know somebody that don't gotta do the flips, you feel me.”

Evans didn’t try to sugarcoat it. He knows the flips get attention, but he also knows WWE careers don’t last long if that’s all you bring to the table. His focus now is getting fans excited while slowly building into a performer who can control matches without risking his body every single time.

That mindset shows Evans isn’t just chasing reactions — he’s thinking about staying power. For someone still early in his WWE run, that kind of long-term thinking could be just as important as the highlight-reel moves that made fans notice him in the first place.

Do you think Je’Von Evans is right to start planning beyond his high-flying style this early, or should he keep leaning into the wild moves that made him stand out? Let us know what you think and drop your feedback in the comments.
