Jacques Rougeau didn’t hold back while appearing on the Coach and Bro Show, opening up about a frustration that has clearly stayed with him for years — his absence from the WWE Hall of Fame despite a long career and multiple successful characters.

During the interview, Rougeau reflected on his time in WWE and the many legendary names he worked alongside. He pointed out that nearly everyone he shared the ring with has already received Hall of Fame recognition, which only adds to his frustration today.

After bringing up his history with top names from his era, Rougeau explained how his feelings stem from both his past fallout with WWE leadership and the fact that many of his peers have already been honored.

“I want to talk about the Hall of Fame. Okay. I want to talk about this bitter taste I have in my mouth because of my falling out 30 years ago with Vince and all that… all the guys that I've worked with — the Hart Foundation, Shawn Michaels, Tito Santana, the Big Boss Man — everybody that I've worked with in the ring, they're in the Hall of Fame.”

He made it clear that this isn’t something that stays quiet behind the scenes either. According to Rougeau, fans regularly bring the topic up to him during public appearances, making the absence even harder to ignore.

While discussing those fan interactions and reflecting on his career accomplishments, Rougeau admitted he struggles to understand why his name continues to be left out — especially considering the reactions he still gets from longtime fans.

“Everywhere I go in Comic Cons it's always the same thing that come up to me… the fans come up to us and they say, ‘Hey, how come Jacques… the Mountie or the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers are not in the Hall of Fame?’”

Rougeau then spoke about his overall WWE tenure, reminding listeners that he portrayed multiple characters that connected with audiences, including The Mountie, The Quebecers, and his run alongside his brother Raymond as The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. Those successes, he believes, should have been enough to earn recognition by now.

As the conversation continued, Rougeau searched for the right way to describe how being left out has made him feel — eventually settling on words that suggested he believes his past issues with WWE leadership may still be affecting him today.

“And I feel like I'm… I've been… I'm being — what's the word — ostracized or boycotted or whatever.”

The moment stood out as one of the most emotional parts of the interview. Rougeau wasn’t speaking in anger as much as disappointment, especially after recalling how often he was trusted to deliver strong matches and help carry shows during his time in WWE.

Even after decades away from his peak years, Rougeau remains active in wrestling appearances and continues to interact with fans who still remember his work — making the lack of recognition feel even more noticeable.
