AEW Blood & Guts is designed to look like absolute carnage, and the 2026 edition certainly lived up to that reputation. With two bloody cage matches and several nasty-looking spots throughout the night, there was naturally some concern about whether everyone made it out in one piece.
Thankfully, it appears there were no significant injuries coming out of the November 4 edition of AEW Blood & Guts. According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, everyone who competed across both the men’s and women’s matches is believed to be okay.
There was one particular scare involving Darby Allin. Alvarez noted that there was concern about Allin’s tooth after his own knee struck him in the face while taking a Michinoku Driver, but the situation ultimately turned out to be fine.
“It appears everyone in both Blood and Guts matches are OK. There was concern about Darby’s tooth after, of all things, his own knee hit his face on a Michinoku driver bump, but turned out he was OK.”
That’s especially fortunate considering just how violent both matches became. The women opened the Blood & Guts action with broken glass, barbed wire, tables and plenty of blood before Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron, Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor picked up the victory.
The men’s Blood & Guts match was just as chaotic, with Darby Allin, Adam Copeland, Will Ospreay, Steven Borden and The Young Bucks going to war with the Don Callis Family. Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Wardlow, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis and Jake Doyle ultimately won the match.
Last year’s Blood & Guts left a few competitors dealing with minor injuries, so getting through two matches of this nature without anyone suffering a significant injury is about as good an outcome as AEW could have hoped for. Allin’s tooth scare appears to have been just that — a scare — leaving the company without any reported casualties from one of its most physically punishing nights of the year.
