Andrade El Idolo’s ringside selfie routine continued on AEW Dynamite, and once again, fans were left wondering who had just popped up alongside him. It didn’t take long after the show for one of the women to reveal exactly who she was.
During the September 9 episode of Dynamite, Andrade faced Beast Mortos and once again found some time during the match to make his way toward ringside. Two women approached him and grabbed selfies, continuing a routine that has followed Andrade through several AEW shows now.
One of those women has since been identified as MLW star Corrine Joy. Joy confirmed it herself after Dynamite. She took to Instagram and uploaded the photo she snapped with Andrade during the show, keeping her reaction to the AEW appearance short.

Joy is already an established name outside AEW. She has competed for MLW and has also worked across the independent scene for promotions including NWA, GCW and PWS. That makes her the latest wrestler to find her way into Andrade’s ongoing ringside routine.
Just one week earlier, Andrade stopped for another selfie during the September 2 episode of Dynamite. That woman eventually revealed herself as independent wrestler Amaris Blair, who uploaded the picture after the show.
The routine also showed up at AEW All In on August 30. Andrade stopped for a selfie during the Casino Gauntlet Match at Wembley Stadium, with the woman involved later being identified as independent wrestler Melissa Fierce.
So AEW has now repeatedly placed actual wrestlers in these spots with Andrade. Melissa Fierce appeared at All In, Amaris Blair followed on Dynamite, and Corrine Joy has now joined the growing list.
AEW still hasn’t explained whether all these selfies are eventually leading somewhere. Either way, the routine keeps producing a new mystery every week, and Corrine Joy was one of the women holding the phone this time.
