Andrade El Idolo has done it again. The AEW National Champion stopped in the middle of a match, found a woman at ringside, snapped a selfie, and left fans trying to figure out who she was. It didn’t take long.
During the August 5 edition of AEW Dynamite, Andrade competed in a three-way match to determine the first entrant in the Casino Gauntlet Match at AEW All In. In the middle of the action, he briefly headed to ringside, posed for a selfie with a woman sitting in the crowd, and then went straight back to the match without AEW offering any explanation.
That was all wrestling fans needed. Following the show, the woman’s identity was revealed. She is involved with CMLL and also performs as a dancer with Glam Girls, making her the latest name added to Andrade’s ever-growing list of mystery companions.
If this is starting to feel like a weekly tradition, that’s because it pretty much is. Just last week, independent wrestler Georgia South revealed she was the mystery woman who appeared with Andrade during his AEW National Championship defense after uploading the selfie from the segment to her Instagram Story.
The list has continued to grow throughout Andrade’s AEW run. Ava Everett previously confirmed she was another mystery woman featured in one of Andrade’s post-match selfies, while Rachel Ley, Emily Jaye, Amaris Blair, Tiara James, Vile, Selena Hekate, Rebel Kel and Johnnie Robbie have all eventually been identified after making brief appearances alongside El Idolo.
At this point, Andrade doesn’t even have to say a word. He simply points a phone at someone for a few seconds, takes a selfie, and lets wrestling fans do the rest. Week after week, the internet turns into a detective agency, racing to identify the latest mystery woman before the night is over—and so far, they haven’t missed once.
