The wrestling world’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge just got another familiar face, as Harley Cameron stepped up to the plate for a great cause.
Days after Sting nominated Tony Khan—and after the AEW President answered the call—Harley Cameron has now stepped up to keep the movement going in support of Rebel. Cameron took to Instagram alongside Clancy to complete the challenge, making it clear exactly why she wanted to be part of it.
“Hey guys, it’s Harley Cameron and Clancy. We’re here because Renee Paquette has nominated me to do the Ice Bucket Challenge. Our good friend Rebel is battling ALS, and we want her to know how much we love and support her. We love you, Rebel.”
She also used the moment to nominate several more names, including a group with a very personal connection to Rebel’s life before wrestling.
“We have some people we wanna nominate. We nominate the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. This is because before Rebel was a wrestler, she was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader for years. We are also nominating Tyler Breeze, Shawn Spears, Billy Gunn, and Karen and Jeff Jarrett.”
Then came the moment everyone was waiting for: “BRING THE ICE!” Seconds later, Cameron was drenched before ending the video with one final message.
“We love you so much, Rebel. Ooooh! Yeah! Oh yes, yes!”
Cameron’s video continues a challenge that has quickly spread throughout the wrestling industry. It included Sting, who turned his own Ice Bucket Challenge into a wrestling-style promo before nominating Tony Khan, Dustin Rhodes, Mick Foley, Darby Allin and his sons. Khan later accepted the challenge during Jacksonville Jaguars training camp before passing it on to Jaguars head coach Liam Coen, general manager James Gladstone and franchise legend Tony Boselli.
Now the movement continues with another round of nominations—all centered around showing support for Rebel as she continues her battle with ALS.
