Harley Cameron is finally addressing the chaotic moment from AEW Dynamite that left fans stunned — and she’s making it clear the whole thing was far less dramatic than people thought.
During the May 6 edition of Dynamite, Mina Shirakawa accidentally sent the segment off the rails when she ripped Harley Cameron’s top off during an interview segment. The reveal showed Cameron wearing a bra underneath instead of her wrestling gear, immediately catching Renee Paquette off guard on live television. The moment instantly exploded online, with many fans comparing it to a “Janet Jackson” style wardrobe malfunction.
Now Cameron is laughing the whole thing off. While speaking with Good Karma Wrestling on May 8, 2026, Cameron explained that Shirakawa simply assumed she already had her wrestling gear underneath the shirt.
“I was like—I was like I melted my nose off. Popped a titty. Look, Mina got all riled up and she just thought I was wearing my gear underneath, which I wasn’t.”
Cameron then pointed out that her actual wrestling gear is already very similar to what viewers saw during the segment anyway.
“For everyone who had a heart attack over it, let me just preface the fact that my wrestling gear is actually like—just a bra. I wrestle in a bra, if anyone takes care to notice.”
She also joked that fans were overreacting considering Shirakawa was standing right beside her in similar ring gear.
“So for everyone that was like, ‘Oh my gosh,’ I’m like, Mina is next to me in her gear. Our gear is bras.”
According to Cameron, the biggest issue was simply that she was wearing the “wrong material” at the time: “You know, I was in the wrong material.” And once the shirt came off unexpectedly, Cameron figured she had no choice but to fully commit to the bit.
“When she ripped the shirt off, I was like, I got to take the rest of it off now, you know.”
Harley Cameron closed the topic with one final joke directed at anyone still shocked over the segment.
“For anyone that was a little bit taken back—I mean, guys, just watch my matches. I wear a lot less.”
The entire situation quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from Dynamite that week, especially because of how visibly stunned Renee Paquette looked during the live segment. Still, Harley Cameron clearly isn’t embarrassed about what happened — if anything, she seems to think everyone else made a way bigger deal out of it than she did.
